A new position exists for an experienced, dynamic sales professional in the Hospitality Point of Sale (POS) market with a leading Australian owned POS vendor.

The position is based in Melbourne with the opportunity to sell Australia wide.

Duties
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
- Professionally sell POS solutions to meet agreed sales targets
- Support marketing/lead generation activities
- Up sell and Cross sell to existing customers
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to continue to meet sales targets
- Maintain the company CRM system (salesforce.com) for sales related activities
- Continuous learning on the company’s products, markets and competitors
- Learn and adopt company sales methodology
- Build lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with customers and prospects
- Pipeline reporting and analysis as required
- Attendance at weekly sales meeting (via conference call)
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record selling software solutions to the Hospitality market with an extensive contact network within this industry. They must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a high performance sales team that is success driven.
