Setup after (and including) version 3.6.4

Run the order processor as a printer instead of a bump bar. Set the type of the printer to MPAD. You will also need to edit C:\Program Files\Fedelta\FedeltaPOS\config\prefs\afj\fedelta\device\printer\user.pref to setup the com port (if not using COM1) manually. Example:

comPort1=COM5
comPort2=COM6

Woud be appeded to the files contents if Printer1 and Printer2 where MPAD kitchen displays running on COM 5 and 6 respectivly. Note: The number after "comPort" identifies which printer this setting is for. Make sure this lines up to how you have specified any printers in the Preference Editor. Also the equivalent settings are available on the server if the server is required to run this type of "printer".

Setup Before version 3.6.4

To setup Fedelta to communicate with the Kitchen Video Display you need to do 2 steps:

1. Setup an Product-> Order Processor from the Backoffice taking note of the name (needed for next step)

2. You need to provide a preference with the name of the order processor with “_port” (without quotes) appended; followed by e.g. = COM3

   i) Edit C:\Program Files\Fedelta\FedeltaServer\config\prefs\afj\device\orderdisplay\system.pref
   ii). Add e.g. "KVD1_port = COM3" (without quotes assuming you created an order processor named KVD1)
   iii) Add e.g. "KVD2_port = COM4 " (without quotes assuming you created a second order processor named KVD2)

Restart the Fedelta Server.
