Point of Sale

Replacing terminals should be done with great care. You should NEVER restore a imaged terminal unless you are aware of the process and replace the POS.FDB database with a fresh copy.

 Files to backup on POS

1. C:\Program Files\Fedelta\FedetaPOS\config\prefs - backs up the settings and preferences such as whether to auto logout, printers, scanners, etc, etc
2.  C:\Program Files\Fedelta\FedetaPOS\config\jpos.xml baks up th JavaPOS setup for peripherals.

To restore you should:

1. Install a fresh copy of the same version of POS that the server has been installed/upgraded to.
2. Copy the backup files to the correct destinations.
