Backup from Back Office
·
Disconnect All clients (POS and Backoffice)
i.e. Ask them to make sure all POS terminals and BOF’s are turned off.

Check which licenses are in use – make sure
it’s only one BOF (that you are on)
·
Stop Server
Running (Start - run - cmd - net stop Fedelta) and or
(Start - Control Panel - Administrator Tools - Services - Find Fedelta Server & Press stop)
·
Open Fedelta server apps (to work out what
needs upgrading)
·
Be VERY CAREFUL not to miss any or add any
new unless you are doing it deliberately
·
Tick these options in the installer.
·
Close
Apps directory (or files will be In use)
·
Run the Upgrade
·
Start console server
(Fedeltaserver/bin/startup_services.bat)
·
Look for “jagged” error messages and report
if needed
·
Start all POS terminals
·
Shut down console server (CTRL + C on console
screen)
·
Start server in service mode (net start
Fedelta from cmd)
