The Coro celebrates brilliant food, wine, design and style across their diverse yet complementary spaces, including the Lure Restaurant, Lure Lounge, The Table, The Patio, Gaming Lounge and The Wine Store.

The Lure Restaurant has won four consecutive Brisbane and Queensland Restaurant and Catering Awards for Best Seafood Restaurant.

Challenge

The Coro decided to research new Point of Sale systems as their existing system was becoming outdated and performing slowly and inefficiently. The complexity of the system also created frustration for staff.

The Coro required a reliable system that could manage all aspects of their diverse venues. A major focus for the new Point of Sale system was to facilitate effective and accurate stock control to reduce stock discrepancies and provide full accountability of stock. It was essential that the system be simple and efficient to use for both front of house and back of house operations. The Point of Sale solution also needed to be flexible and dynamic to ensure it would continue to grow with the business.

Solution

Fedelta Point of Sale provided The Coro with a complete Point of Sale system that fulfilled all of their requirements.

Fedelta installed Point of Sale terminals throughout the venue to manage their entire front of house operations. The screen layouts of all the terminals were completely customised to suit their individual needs and make them easy for staff to operate. The General Manager Chris Willis worked with Fedelta’s development and installation team to create the new screen layouts.

Back Office was installed to streamline the Coro’s back office operations. This sophisticated module provides The Coro with detailed management functionality, including pricing control, staff management and powerful stock control functionality. Detailed audits of stock usage, stock transfers and stock wastage provides The Coro with complete stock accountability.
