Challenge

When the Toko Group was in the process of opening their newest venue Tokonoma, they decided to install a new and coordinated point of sale system across the two venues. Their current system was becoming increasingly unreliable and had insufficient reporting functionality.

The Toko Group required a complete and integrated system that could manage all aspects of their venues. They required a point of sale system that went well beyond transaction processing. Specifically they wanted a solution that provided business intelligence, to enable more effective tactical, strategic and operational insights. Reporting also needed to be accessed remotely and in real time.

A key requirement for the solution was not only to fulfill current needs, but also grow with the business well into the future.

Solution

The Toko Group was provided with a Fedelta Point of Sale system that fulfilled all of their requirements. This included:

  • Point of Sale terminals were installed throughout Toko Restaurant and Bar and Tokonoma to manage the front of house operations. Having one system across the venues made it easier and more efficient for staff.
  • Sophisticated Backoffice functionality provided in depth and powerful reporting for management. Backoffice also facilitated complete control of inventory, pricing, promotion and staff management.
  • Stock control provided efficient and accurate stock management across the two venues.
  • VPN remote access was also setup to their head office, this enabled reporting to be accessed remotely and in real time.
  • A customer Loyalty module was installed to enable effective communication with customers, whilst being able to track and identify customer purchasing patterns and preferences. This also facilitated the introduction of gift cards and effective tab and function management.
